GARFIELD COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Garfield County authorities are warning people to stay away from bottles filled with a dangerous substance.
Bottles similar to the size of water bottles have been popping up along river banks in Garfield, Eagle and Pitkin counties, filled with a blue or purple liquid and a paper-like substance, according to the Garfield County Sheriff's Office. They're mostly encapsulated by duct tape.
Deputies said the contents are corrosive, flammable and a dangerous to human health.
The sheriff's office said to not touch these bottles if you see them. Make note of the location and call authorities right away.
