GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. One of the things that seems to make BMX, especially BMX in the area so strong, is the bond that is formed among the riders and their families.
Someone needs a part? No problem.
Someone needs advice on how or where to ride, the BMX family has you covered.
It's not just the people in the immediate area or those competing either, BMX is one of the true generational sports still left.
"Everybody is involved, Moms, Dads, Kids, Grandkids, and Great-Grandkids, I have a 3 year old great-grandson, my son raced, I was a track operator for 13 years, it's something we have always been involved in because kids ride to their own ability with their own age group, and it's just a great sport"
