Grand Junction Rockies' second baseman Shael Mendoza was honored after recording a .931 OPS in 55 games.
The 20-year-old product of the Dominican Republic finished second in the Pioneer League in batting average at .364 and stolen bases with 25.
Mendoza also was third in hits with 84.
