It hasn't been an ideal start to Clay Kame's first season as Palisade's boys basketball coach.
His Bulldogs are 0-6 averaging just 39 points and 18 turnovers per game.
"There's of course a learning curb," Kame says. "Some of my terminology might not match up with what they've had in the past. They're good kids. They're coachable. We're hashing things out as we go."
The team lost their top six scorers from last season and have just one senior on the roster.
"He's hard on us," junior Sebastian Campbell says. "He makes us really work and makes our leaders step up and lead our team."
Palisade will look to get their first win of the season the Palisade Rotart Tournament on Thursday.
The Bulldogs tip off at 6 P.M. against Vail Mountain.
