Plateau Valley guard Madison Clark is just a freshman, but doesn't show it.
"She has energy that is unbelievable," said head coach John Holmes. "She never stops and her positive attitude shines and it is very clear and to go along with quite a little bit of talent. 'Its pretty exciting for the future."
Clark averages just 3.0 points per game but her energy doesn't go unnoticed.
"I joke with my assistant coach say that she must have ten bowls of sugar pop every single morning because she is always going 100 miles an hour and she never stops," said Holmes.
The team has four junior snad two seniors which contributes to her game.
"You know it’s a lot of fun being able to look at them for role models and seeing how to do everything cause they have been here for four years," said Clark. "It means a lot because they are helping me and telling me what to do so i can become bigger and better."
Clark is multi-sport athlete who participates in volleyball and track and field as well.
Plateau Valley sits at 4-3 on the year.
"For me I feel like it's just to become a bigger and better team," Clark says. "Hopefully we all come together and just become stronger cause we have several other years with all these girls and I feel like its just to become a family."
