CMU Men's Basketball: Mavs bounce back to knock off CCU

Coming into Saturday nights game CMU men's basketball had lost five straight games on their home court. That changed with a stellar defensive effort for the Mavs as they knocked of the Cougars 85-70.

CJ Davis led the way offensively for CMU pouring in 24 points going 4-8 from behind the three point line. Connor Nichols continues his hot play chipping in 19 points in 32 minutes of play.

CMU snaps their losing streak to improve to 7-9 overall and now 3-7 in RMAC play.

The road gauntlet is back for the Mavs next week as they will play UCCS on Friday night before taking on an always tough Metro State squad on Saturday night next weekend.
