GJ Rockies: Raptors route Rockies on Independence Day

GRAND JUNCTION, Co. (KKCO/KJCT) Ogden tagged the Rockies for 21 hits in their 22-7 victory.

The Raptors scored at least one run in every inning but the first and sixth. They also had nine different players record at least one hit.

The big blow came in the fifth when Ogden scored eight runs capped off by Dillon Paulson's two-run double.

Trent Fennell earns the loss after lasting just 2.0 innings allowing four runs on five hits in the start for Grand Junction.

Niko Decolati was a bright spot for Grand Junction offensively. He went 3-5 with a home run and four RBI's.

The loss puts Grand Junction to 9-11 this season. Ogden improves to 13-7.

Game two of the five-game series begins at 6:40 P.M. on Thursday from Suplizio Field.
