GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) Hunter Stovall did what not many Rockies can say they have down in the professional debut. The Mississippi State product hit two home runs and drove in four to help the Grand Junction Rockies pick up the 5-4 win over the Ogden Raptors.
Stovall's two home runs came in the first and third innings as he provided all but one run for the Grand Junction offense. Wander Cabrera picked up his first win on the year for the Rockies and had his best outing of the season.
The Dominican Republic native threw six innings on Saturday night allowing just one run while striking a career high five batters.
The Rockies will look to win the series finale tomorrow against the Raptors at Suplizio Field with first pitch set for 5:00 P.M.
