GJ Rockies: Grand Junction wins fourth straight

BILLINGS, MT. (KKCO/KJCT) The Rockies used pitching by committee to take down Billings, 7-2

Grand Junction used seven different pitchers and held the Mustangs to two runs on seven hits. The Rockies recorded 13 strikeouts as well.

Grand Junction scored three runs in the second inning after falling behind, 1-0.

After Christopher Navarro forced a walk for a run, Will Golsan knocked a two-RBI single.

The Rockies took the lead and never surrendered it.

Golsan went 2-3 on the night.

Coco Montes and Javier Guevara added two hits each.

It's Grand Junction's fourth straight win as they improve to 13-13.

Game three of the four-game series is at 7:05 P.M. on Thursday.
