GJ Rockies: Raptors snap Rockies win streak

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) The Grand Junction Rockies jumped out to the early 4-1 lead over Ogden on Monday night, but the Raptors would score five runs in the 5th inning for the 9-7 win.

Alfredo Garcia took the loss on the mound for manager Jake Opitz going 4.2 innings allowing three earned runs.

Javier Guevara had one of best hitting games of the season for the Rockies. The righty went 3-3 with four RBI's on the night, giving Grand Junction the 3-0 lead in the first on a triple.

The loss drops Grand Junction to 4-2 in the second half of the season. The Rockies will be right back in action on Tuesday night against the Raptors at 6:40 P.M.
