GJ Rockies: Rockies held to one run in loss to Helena

HELENA, MT (KKCO/KJCT) The Helena Brewers scored six runs in the 4th inning on Saturday night to take game two of the Grand Junction Rockies 8-1.

Aleijandro Mejia started on the mound for Grand Junction going 3.2 innings allowing two earned runs on six hits to take the loss.

Only two Rockies hitters Coco Montes and Christopher Navarro had more than one hit on the evening. Grand Junction scored its lone run in the 4th inning on a Niko Decolati RBI single.

The Rockies will look for the series win tomorrow in the finale with first pitch set for 1:05 P.M. from Helena.
