GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) CMU volleyball's senior libero Taylor Woods was named the RMAC Defensive Player of the Week.
She earns the award after setting the CMU rally-scoring era record for career digs over the weekend with 1,106 in her career.
Woods recorded 83 digs in four games at the Concordia Invitational in Irvine.
Woods now ranks third all-time in CMU history behind Amy Miller (2,542; 1991-94) and Pam Glenn (1,783; 1992-95).
After going 2-2 in California the Lady Mavs will head to the Rockhurst Classic in Kansas City, Missouri.
The first game is set for Friday against host and No. 6 Rockhurst.
