GJ Rockies: Team tops Orem in final regular season home game

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) The Grand Junction Rockies top Orem, 3-2, in their final home game of the regular season.

The Rockies grabbed a 2-0 lead on a bases loaded Javier Guevara double play in the third inning.

Christopher Navarro added the third run after a sacrifice bunt led to an Orem throwing error in the fourth inning..

Ryan Rolison went a scoreless 3.0 innings in the start.

The bullpen allowed just two runs with one earned in six innings of relief.

Alexander Martinez now has the Pioneer League single-season save record with 19.

The Rockies now travel to Orem for two games beginning on Wednesday at 6:35 P.M.

The Rockies can clinch a playoff berth with a win.
