GJ Rockies: GJ drops regular season finale

OREM, Utah (KKCO/KJCT) The Grand Junction Rockies drop their season finale to the Orem Owlz, 6-5.

The Rockies had a three-run lead before Orem made a comeback by scoring four runs in the eighth inning.

Orem's Connor Fitzsimons reached on a fielder's choice to give the Owlz the go-ahead run.

Jesse Stinnett went 6.0 innings allowing just two runs in the start for Grand Junction.

Will Golsan was a bright spot offensively for the Rockies with three hits.

The Rockies end the regular season at 43-33, tying the best record in franchise history (2012, 2014).

Grand Junction begins the South Division Championship Series against the Ogden Raptors on Friday.

First pitch is set for 6:30 P.M. from Ogden.
