CMU Men's Soccer: Mavs score two in second half to win

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) Lawan Abary's late second-half goal led the Mavs to the 2-1 win over Northwest Nazarene University.

The Mavs were trailing by one goal heading into the second half when Matthew Miller scored off a Kevin Del Mazo assist to tie the game.

Nazarene's Rafael Junqueira scored the Nighthawks' opening goal in the first half.

Both teams had four shots on goal with CMU winning the overall shots margin, 17-8.

CMU improves to 2-0-1 on the season.

The Mavs will host Fort Lewis at 3:30 P.M. on September 14.
