GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) For the third year, CMU hockey hosted Pink the Rink, a fundraiser for St. Mary's cancer survivorship program, in Glacier Ice Arena.
During the game, they hold a raffle and silent auction to raise additional funds for the program.
The arena was packed and everyone was wearing their pink attire, even the players and coaches.
The Mavericks scored early and often, leading to their 11-1 victory. The team went past their goal of raising $15,000 for the night.
