GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) CMU men's basketball has built a team chemistry that has helped the team become a well rounded offensive scoring machine.
CMU'S Men and Women Swim and Dive team will take on Colorado School of Mines.
11 Maverick Men and Women will compete on Friday in the one and three-meter diving against Division I Denver and the swimmers will compete for two days in 17 events against the Orediggers. The last time they met, the men won setting a scoring record of 1,754 points. They also improved moving up nine spots in the Top Ten Division II Coache's Polls this week. They sit in ninth place, one point behind Wayne state.
The women dropped one spot and sit in a tie with Grand Valley for 11th place. They will head into the weekend with 13 straight wins against School of Mines over the past three years.

Palisade began conference play Thursday night against Eagle Valley.
The Bulldogs defense was able to hold the Devils to only 13 points in the game.
The home team was able to get their first Western Slope League win 37-13 over Eagle Valley. With the win, Palisade moves to 8-3 on the season.
The girls will look to start conference play 2-0 as they host Steamboat Springs Friday night.
