CMU Women's Lacrosse: Mav's handle Hawks, 18-2

The Mavericks were looking to bounce back after their loss to #4 Lindenwood last weekend.

CMU was quick to get on the board with a goal by Paige Elliott less than three minutes into the game.

Rockhurst responded with a goal by Hannah Miller to tie the game at 1-1.

After that, the Mavericks scored 14 unanswered goals that would lead to an 18-2 win over the Hawks.

Erin Koehler eclipsed her 100 career ground ball mark with three ground balls in the win. Olivia Hayden led the team in scoring with four goals.

The Mavericks will host Oklahoma Baptist on Friday at 4:00 P.M. at Walker Field.
