CMU Men's Lacrosse: Mavericks set NCAA DII record in 52-0 win

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) CMU men's lacrosse was back home Tuesday night after losing their first conference match on Saturday. After a tough loss, the team could use a little boost. They hosted Johnson and Wales University, a team they beat last season 33-0. Could they do it again this year?

CMU men’s lacrosse set a new NCAA Division II record in a 52-0 shutout win over Johnson and Wales University Tuesday night. The Mavericks had 21 different scorers with six of those scorers netting four or more goals. The defense had little work all night as the Wildcats never attempted a shot.

The Mavericks will host CSU-Pueblo on Friday night.
