GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) One of the hottest bats in the Pioneer League is Grand Junction's, Christian Koss. The infielder has been Player of the Week twice and Koss was named the Uncle Ray's Player of the Month for the Pioneer League on Tuesday.
In the month of July, the UC Irvine product has led the Pioneer League with 29 RBI, 66 total bases, an on base percentage of .482 and was second in batting average hitting .374, seven home runs and a slugging percentage of .725. He had 12 multi-hit games and that's just the month of July.
The 12th round pick is developing nicely and he will look to continue that in the Rockies upcoming eight game road trip in Montana starting on Thursday against Great Falls.
