FRUITA, Colo. (KJCT/KKCO) "He helps everyone out, no matter who they are. He taught me a lot of life lessons and got me out of my shell personally " says Brayden.
To say Brayden Kelley loves golf would be an understatement. Brayden is a member of the Wildcat golf team and spends his time working at the Adobe Creek Golf Course. During his three years at Adobe, Brayden met Brian Gwatney and they've been friends ever since.
Brian has cerebral palsy in his left leg and left arm. A motor disability that thousands of children and adults live with every day. He has spent the past 20 seasons as the Assistant Manager at Adobe.
Brayden says Brian has inspired him. Someone who is a really positive person for anyone that he meets.
One day, Brayden decided to share Brian's story with the rest of the world. He sent his video to some of his favorite professional golfers such as Greg Norman and Jordan Speith. Within 24 hours, Brayden was getting emails.
World Golf Hall of Famer, Greg Norman, saw the video and sent some gear, Norman also posted a shout out to Brayden & Brian on Facebook and Instagram regarding how inspiring the video was.
"I sat right there for a moment and thought, great...they just saw my golf swing. it was really cool. that was a great shout out that he did. Awesome that he should that to all his fans. it was cool he gave me and Brayden so much credit for it" says Brian.
