CMU Baseball moves onto the RMAC Championship

Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) CMU Baseball jumped the gun against Dixie State in the first inning with one run and until the bottom of the seventh, no one was scored. In the seventh, runners in scoring position and Chase Hamilton with a hit to left field. Spencer Bramwell and Josh Shapiro both score for a 3-1 lead.

No one scored in 5 and a half innings because it was a pitchers duel. Trevin Reynolds didn't allow a hit until the fourth inning. Reynolds accumulated six strikeouts and four hits. His opponent, Jack Gonzales, had five strikeouts and one walk. Both pitchers retired after 7 innings

Mavs win 3-1 and will play in the RMAC Championship game Saturday, at 1 P.M. against School of Mines.
