It was scoreless until the third inning, Mavs up 1-0, Spencer Bramwell finds the gap in right field for an RBI-single and a 2-0 lead. Mines still scoreless, and Hunter Douglas up the middle moving the runners over, including a run. Orrediggers hung in there scoring 1 run.

The Mavs getting that extra insurance coverage with 5 more runs in the 9th including a home run by Hayden McGeary who's left wrist was bugging him all game. Will Dixon closed it out with a strikeout.

"I thought Trevin gave us what I thought he'd give us, that's why we picked him. While we were trying to find our offense, he held them down and that was key. He didn't give an inch" says Head Coach Chris Hanks.

The Mavs will now face Angelo State in the South Central Super Regionals. No place or date just yet.
