CMU Football wins last game of the season

CMU hosted their last game of the season, honoring their seniors on Military and First Responders Appreciation Day. The Mavs have defeated New Mexico Highlands in eight of their last 10 meetings and Saturday was no different.

Nick Ciccio started it off with an interception turned touchdown for 42-yards and a 7-0 lead. From there, it just didn't stop. Quarterback, Rope Ruel even got a piece of the action for a 6-yard run. Ruel wrapped up his last collegiate game with 101 yards and 3 touchdowns. Senior, Peter Anderson, finished his season with 193 rushing yards.

Mavs demolish the Highlands, 51-13. The Mavs finished the season with back-to-back wins and will end the season with a winning record and a 4th place finish in the RMAC
