GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) Women's lacrosse went 2-0 over the weekend and in doing so, senior Erin Koehler has been named RMAC Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.
Koehler helping her team get on a 7-game winning streak with 16 ground balls and caused nine turnovers over the two games. She currently leads the nation in caused turnovers.
In men's lacrosse, Jack Griffin has been named RMAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time. Griffin had a record-breaking game last week. The senior's 10 goals broke the 2017 school record and also the record for most points in a game.
With 149 career points, Griffin is number two in the school record book. His ten goals has him tied in eighth place for most goals in a game and fifth place for most points in a game in Division II history.
