CMU Men's soccer has now reached the middle of their season and have been able to stay at 4-1 in the RMAC. On Sunday, Westminster who stand at 5-1, gave the Mavs a run for their money.

In the 16th minute, the Griffins get a goal in the far post to take a 1-0 lead. The Mavs, however, had nine shots on goal and finally, in the 55th minute, Mavs forward, Lawan Abary gets one behind the net to tie the game.

The game got pretty physical. In fact, in the beginning, the referee was giving out warnings but later on, had no choice but to give out cards. CMU accumulated six yellows and the Griffins had two.

The Mavs take a tie over a loss as the score will stay tied 1-1 in overtime.
