Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT) GJ can celebrate Labor Day weekend with a series sweep.
GJ retired six batters in a quick first inning. Grand Junction busted out the lumber in the second with seven runs. Five of those runs came from home runs in a full batters rotation.
Rocky Mountain came up big in the seventh racking up five home runs. In fact, seven of their runs came from home runs, making it and 11-7 game.
GJ managed to keep their lead in a final 13-8.
GJ will make their way to Colorado Springs for a 5-game series against the Vibes to wrap the regular season.
