Grand Junction football has yet to win a league game as they get their third straight loss against Dakota Ridge.

The Eagles scored early in the first as they lead 7 -0. The Tigers struggled to move the ball in the first half. In fact, the whole second quarter was turnover after turnover. Kaleb Crone snags a recovery but in the very next play, the Tigers lose the ball and the Eagles get a recovery of their own.

Dillon Smith gets an interception and that will fire up the Tigers as they start to go to work. Quarterback, AJ Mariz takes it himself to the endzone and get the first Tiger touchdown of the game. GJ misses the extra point and that will cost them later on. Tigers get the ball back on another fumble recovery and they come out on top, 12-7 as they sneak in another TD. They go for a 2-point conversion but the Eagles defense will stop them.

The missed field goal will cost the Tigers their first league game win, in a hard fought loss, 13-12.
