The Mavericks couldn't upset the 22nd ranked Trailblazers at home Saturday night as they lost 67-62.

Colorado Mesa defense allowed 40 first half points to Dixie State. The Trailblazers shot 50% from the field and shot 7-9 from the charity stripe.

The Mavericks slowed down the Dixie State offense in the second half but it wouldn't be enough. CMU was led by Tommy Nuno with 13 points. The Mavs had four players in double-digits.

CMU will host Colorado Christian and Regis next week.
