The Colorado Outlaws came home from the 2020 Heroes Conquest with a whole lot of hardware.

The Outlaws are a local youth wrestling team in Grand Junction and they took first place as a team at a national tournament in Grand Island, Nebraska. That's not all, they had seven first-place finishers, one outstanding wrestling award that took home the gauntlet award, and several second and third placers.

These kids have been working hard since they started up in August and they are reaping the rewards.

"There was a ton of first placers this time," said Outlaws coach Robert Chelewski. "We went there and took first place as a team. We have nine kids. The second place team had 45 kids. They did well, we saw improvement out of every kid this weekend which was great."

"At practice, we just work super hard," twelve-year-old wrestler Hassin Maynes said. "Arnie, our coach, he just pushes us to our limits and helps us get very good."
