Man in early stages of dementia goes missing in Mesa County

MESA COUNTY, Colo. The Mesa County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man in the early stages of dementia that went missing Wednesday morning.

67-year-old Charles "Charlie" W. Brittain was last seen around 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning by his spouse, who reported him missing to MCSO deputies.

According to the sheriff's office, Brittain is in the early stages of dementia and could be experiencing confusion or similar behaviors.

Brittain is believed to be driving a dark green Toyota SR5 truck with Colorado license plate 428-IBE.

If you see Brittain, you're asked to call 9-1-1.
